Weekly Wrap Up

Hello everyone,

This week has been a very relaxing week as we had a week off from classes at  the ADT (Akademie des Tanzes). That being said, I actually feel like I got a lot done!

On Wednesday, I finally went to the Rhein Galerie in Ludwigshafen (a neighbouring city) with Tash. I had a great time shopping and browsing at the Rhein Galerie, picking up a few items myself! The shopping centre is quite modern and new inside and had a wide range of shops including Hollister! Holla! 😛

Fast forward to Friday and I went to see Gravity in 3D at the local cinema. Gravity was unbelievable! Nerve-racking, sentimental and thrilling I left the cinema feeling so grateful for gravity and at the same time squashing an dreams of mine to ever become an astronaut…. (I have never wanted to be an astronaut btw) 😉

Even throughout the week I made time to go the studio to practice every second day. As a ballerina in training, the training never stops! Even as I type I am stretching! I am so glad, personally, I made the time because I know come Monday that (hopefully… fingers crossed) I won’t be sore! But we all know that’s a lie!

Here are some photos of me in the studio! Oh how I love spare time at the ballet school!

Fuji Sushi Bar, Mannheim

20131110-145528.jpg

On Saturday afternoon after a 3 hour German class, Natasha and I decided to visit Fuji Sushi Bar! It was a recommendation from one of our Japanese friends at the ballet academy we thought we had to try it out!

Especially in Mannheim it can be sometimes hard to find an authentic Sushi Bar. However this small little sushi bar tucked away from the city centre was the exact opposite.

I decided to order the “Sushi Plate Osaka” which was absolutely delicious! The sushi was fresh, flavourful and… I hope to believe, authentic! I was definitely impressed by the quality and service. All the meals were freshly prepared to order with good variety and the prices being more than fair. Even though my sushi plate was €9.90 this included as a starter, miso soup, a non-alcoholic drink of our choice and to end the meal a small dessert.

Dinner at the Fuji Sushi Bar was a great way to end the week of hard work. At the academy we now have a week off before a mid year ballet exam in the last week before the Christmas break! During my week I hope to finally go shopping, see a movie (in English of course!) and maybe take a day trip to Frankfurt!? Who knows!

Happy blogging everyone!
